The General Manager for Msilikali Savings and Credit Cooperative (MSACCO) Venge Tembo, has pleaded with coordinators to commit to their roles and responsibilities as they are primary sources when assisting MSACCO members.
The sentiments were made during a coordinators training that took place in Mponela with the aim of furnishing coordinators with new-flagged information for different undertakings of their own economic benefit as well as other MSACCO members.
“Our success as MSACCO is directly tied to the satisfaction and well-being of our members. I urge each one of you to continue to uphold the highest standards of service, always keeping the best interest of our members at heart…” said Tembo.
He added to say, as coordinators they should strive to go above and beyond in meeting the needs of members offering them support, guidance and solutions that help them achieve their financial goals and also by referring them to the right channels.
Training coordinators is one way of meeting MSACCO’s Cooperate Principle number 5 of Education, training and information communication. Different topics ranging from the SACCO concept, MSACCO products and services, insurance programs, interest rate calculation, achievements and some of the challenges that have been encountered by MSACCO fell under major areas that were discussed during the sessions.
